In the Conversation, Associate Professor Clare Corbould and Dr. Zim Nwokora tackled the long history and likely ways racist voter suppression and activation will play out in this year’s US presidential election.
Professor Peter Edwards’ book Law, Politics and Intelligence: A Life of Robert Hope was published by NewSouth Publishing in March. The book was launched by the Governor of New South Wales, H.E. the Hon. Margaret Beazley AC QC, in the Supreme Court of NSW on 6 March. Planned launches in Canberra and Melbourne were postponed because of the COVID pandemic.
Peter’s book received a number of positive reviews, including Justin Burke’s review which appeared in Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, 8 June 2020 and Alison Broinowski’s review which appeared in Honest History, 12 June 2020.
