Professor Phillip Deery’s New Publication: “Post-Cold War Conflict: Historians, Espionage and American Communism”

Professor Phillip Deery‘s chapter, “Post-Cold War Conflict: Historians, Espionage and American Communism”, has recently been published in the edited collection Seeking Meaning, Seeking Justice in a Post-Cold War World (Brill, 2018).

Phillip is Emeritus Professor of History at Victoria University, where he was Director of Research and Research Training in the College of Arts. He is an internationally recognised scholar in the field of Cold War studies, specialising in the social and political impact of the Cold War in Australia, Great Britain and the United States.  He is also a specialist in Australian communist and labour history.
