PhD Candidates Gregory Day and Toni Jordan Short-Listed for Literary Prizes

Two Deakin PhD candidates, Gregory Day and Toni Jordan (supervised by Associate Professor Maria Takolander), have been short-listed for major national literary prizes. Gregory Day’s The Archipelago of Souls (Pan Macmillan 2015) has been short-listed for the Tasmanian Premier’s Literary Prize. Toni Jordan’s Our Tiny, Useless Hearts (Text, 2016) has been shortlisted for the Voss Literary Prize. Both Gregory and Toni are candidates in the new PhD by Prior Publication program in the School of Communication and Creative Arts.
