Dr Greg Burgess was recently invited to present a keynote address and be a discussant for other papers at a workshop of Refugees, hosted by the Research Cluster on Imperial, Colonial and Transnational Histories, and the Forced Migrations Research Group at the University of New South Wales, held 19 April 2017. Dr Burgess’ paper addressed the topic of ‘Refugees and the Crisis of Asylum in Mitterrand’s France’.
