Associate Professor Maria Takolander to Appear at Queenscliffe Literary Festival

Associate Professor Maria Takolander will appear at the 2017 Queenscliffe Literary Festival and be involved in two panels: ‘Passion and Power in Short Stories’ on 14 May; and the ‘Great Debate: Fiction is Fluff’ on 20 May.
 
Deakin University’s Faculty of Arts and Education is a sponsor of this event and the festival features TV personality Jennifer Byrne, playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, the Miles Franklin winning novelist Sofie Laguna, non-fiction writer Leah Kaminsky, and many other terrific writers in various genres. The Contemporary Histories Research Group members Professor David McCooey, postgraduate student Gregory Day, and several student interns will also participate in the festival.  The Deakin University Faculty of Arts and Education is a sponsor of this event.
