Professor David McCooey will be speaking about Bob Dylan, the new Nobel Laureate, with Andrew Ford and Kerryn Goldsworthy, on Radio National’s Music Show on Saturday 15th October, just after 11am. A podcast of the discussion will be available on the Music Show’s website after the broadcast.

David McCooey teaches Literary Studies and Professional & Creative Writing in the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University, and supervises Honours and postgraduate students. David’s work has been published in both national and international journals. In 1996, David’s critical work Artful Histories: Modern Australian Autobiography (1996, re-published 2009) won the New South Wales Premier’s Literary Award and in 1997 was short-listed for the Colin Roderick Award for Best Australian Book.
