Dr Donna-Lee Frieze is a Genocide studies scholar, specialising in memory and aftermath studies. Donna is a Research Fellow and teaches the Holocaust at Deakin University and a Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University’s Centre for the Study of Genocide and Human Rights. Donna is a current member of the Advisory Board to the International Association of Genocide Scholars and a Board member for the Institute for the Study of Genocide, New York University. In September 2015, Donna was appointed by the Australian Government to the Academia Working Group of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) for two years.
Donna was recently appointed as the Inaugural Genocide Studies Scholar with the Jewish Holocaust Centre in Elsternwick, Victoria. This is an honorary two-year appointment commencing 1 August 2016. Congratulations, Donna!
