Zoe Dzunko, a PhD candidate in the School of Communication and Creative Arts, has recently been appointed as the new co-editor of The Lifted Brow with Annabel Brady-Brow. You can read Zoe and Annabel’s interview with outgoing editors Ellena Savage and Gillian Terzis.
Zoe’s chapbook Selfless has also been recently released by The Atlas Review. She also recently took part in the Emerging Writer’s Fest, presenting at the ‘Poetry Practice’ workshop.
Zoe has presented her research at domestic conferences including the 17th AAWP Conference and Critical Animals, and in 2014 travelled to the United States to participate in the Yale Writers’ Conference and the Tin House Summer Workshop. In March of 2014 she travelled to North America to undertake fieldwork research at the Library of Congress Folklife Centre and Monmouth University’s Bruce Springsteen Special Collection. She has published three chapbooks of poetry and her work has been featured in numerous Australian and international publications including The Age, Southerly, Australian Book Review, Guernica, and the Tin House blog.
