Dr Joanna Cruickshank recently successfully completed a crowdfunding campaign ‘History for Change’. Jo is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and a member of the Contemporary Histories Research Group. Several performances resulting from this campaign have now been announced:
As an outcome of Jo’s ‘History For Change’ crowdfunding campaign, the Waurn Ponds campus will be hosting three performances of Coranderrk: We Will Show the Country on 25-26 July. Two daytime performances will be held for school students from the Geelong region and one evening performance, at 6.30pm on 26 July, will be open to the community.
Jo would love your support in promoting this exciting opportunity for the Geelong community to see Coranderrk, and for those of you who are Geelong-based, this is a great chance to see the performance on your doorstep! Tickets are available through La Mama and Jo has posters and flyers if anyone is interested in distributing them locally.
For our Melbourne colleagues, La Mama is holding a subsequent season of Coranderrk at the La Mama Courthouse on 3-7 August and tickets are selling fast – you can grab yours via La Mama.
