Mr Ian Kemish A.M. responds to Sean Dorney’s ‘The Embarrassed Colonist’ in ‘PNG is Changing and We Need to Keep Up’, published by the Lowy Institute.
Ian Kemish, A.M, former Australian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea (until 2013) and previously Australian Ambassador to Germany, has recently been appointed as an Honorary Fellow of Deakin’s School of Humanities and Social a Sciences. A UQ History Honours graduate, Mr Kemish began his 26-year diplomatic career in 1988 and had several other postings in Asia and Europe.
